Period

So I'm on my period but it's been super light. I've only been bleeding about 1/4 ounce a day that and I just finished the week before I started this round. I'm on the nexplanon and I know it has irregular cycles (got it in 7/5/13). But they've never been this weird. Normally my cycles are about an ounce a day. This cycle also did the usual old blood to new blood so I have no idea what's going on with me. I want to test just to double check but when would be a good time. Should I do it now or wait till I'm done with this cycle?
