So I will appear shallow and superficial to you all but I am not! I am someone who was severely bullied my entire childhood and adolescence for something on my face( a birthmark) so I just don't want my boy to face the same thing. He is so beautiful! And has gorgeous features except for his nose. The bridge of his nose is large and one side is bigger than the other so it makes his nose look crooked. The thing is no one in either family has that bridge?!? But I know genetics is strange. He's almost 6 weeks and since his birth his nose has significantly improved! It was very, very big and swollen when he was born. Even the nurses commented on hiis " prominent" nose. It is literally the focus of his face. I don't know why I'm posting, I guess I feel guilty for being so concerned when I have a beautiful and healthy baby or maybe looking for reassurance that his nose will change?!! Or that someone else has had the same issue and the sides evened out? I do not want to obsess about his nose but again, it is difficult not to. It really is the focus when looking at him and I feel it is the elephant in the room when others comment about him :(
