I side car the crib. Take a site off and butter it up against my side of the bed. Secure with ratchet straps to the other side of the bed frame so they don't come apart. I like this because it lasts longer and .you have more room for baby. It's like an addition to your bed.

I had originally wanted to do the halo bassinest. I was dead set on it but I hadn't really seen it compared to anything else. On one of my many trips to the baby store I saw the halo and the arms reach mini coslee per side by side and was amazed at the difference in size. The halo is HUGE. I mean ginormous compared to the arms reach. I almost don't mind that the arms reach isn't movable once attached to the bed because the halo would just take up so much space. I will be getting the mini cosleeper and will keep it at my moms house eventually as a pack and play since its small and wouldn't take up much space. Go see them at the store and decide what would work best for you

I used a bassinet that I could put on the bed with me til he out grew it around three months. Then had him in his playpen until he was big enough for his crib.
