So you hear the rumours but the dr tells you otherwise... I was on the depo contraceptive injection for around 5 years. After talking with the nurse regarding the length it takes to get out of your system to start conceiving, her response was a few months.  So 10 months later and still no sign of normality but I'm now in a loving relationship and would want to try for a family in the near future. Any advice from you ladies about how long it took before having a period again and conceiving?
