Ovulation question

Tonya • Expecting our first bundle of joy September 16, 2016. We are beyond excited to start this journey to parenthood! 💕
This early afternoon I took a digital ovulation test and had a smile. Around 630 tonight I took another just to see and it was negative. Is this normal? Today is cycle day 14.. So ovulation would deff be happening around now. Baby dancing tonight for sure.. Just want some reassurance. Thanks!
