Diarrhea?!?

Question

At what point should I see the doctor? I am 36+3 and I have had diarrhea 4-5 times a day for 5 days now. I'm also having irregular back pain and Braxton hicks contractions. I just don't know if I should call the Obgyn or just keep waiting it out.

The doc sent me to L&d but the menstrual like cramps I am having aren't strong enough to measure on the monitor. They took blood work to check for infection and I'm just waiting. I'm def glad we will not be having a baby today because we are not ready. Bags aren't packed, car seats at home, and there isn't anyone lined up to watch our son. I'll update on anything that shows up on the blood work.

Just stay hydrated. Same thing happened to me. Watery Diarrhea from 35 weeks up to 37. Kept being told to drink water and Gatorade. Braxton Hicks contractions were irregular and horrible too. Now I'm 38 and my stool is loose but no longer watery and I barely feel anything other then baby engaging and disengaging and a few strong contractions here and there. Was told the Braxton Hicks were brought on by dehydration and up until now is when I'm truly feeling productive contractions. Hope it helps.

If your pee turns to looking yellow  then go in means your dehydrated

in the same boat - except mines been going on for almost 2 weeks now. my doctor isn't concerned - just told me to stay hydrated and to take Imodium if it helps. keep us posted mama!

Im the same 36w2d and having braxton hicks since friday night. Diarrhea and nausea today... I have app tomorrow will see what they say... Hope you feel better. We are almost there! 💃🏼💪🏻😍

I had that happen around 36 weeks and my doctor said to make sure I stayed hydrated but other than that there wasn't much that could be done!
