First month trying after BC pill use

This is my husband and my first month trying. I'm 31 and he's 33. AF is now 10 days late. I hate that I didn't get a BFP yet. Now all of a sudden I'm spotting but nothing worth a big fuss. Just trying to figure out how to determine ovulation even if I don't get my period without OPKs.

What's the longest you were late before getting a BFP?

Any suggestions for us?
