I grew up in a community that getting pregnant at a young age was normal, and so I always had a fear of getting pregnant and didn't want to until I was ready and with the right guy. I didn't start having sex until I was 24 and only with the man who is now my husband. We dated six years and have been married a year. During those six years I was crazy about always having birth control because I wanted to wait to have babies until we were ready. So I have spent the last seven years preventing a pregnancy and now that my husband and I are trying to get pregnant, every month we don't get pregnant is so disappointing. I don't know who gets more sad when I get my period....my husband or me!! Lol so tonight as I lay in bed waiting for my period that is due in four days, I am saying a prayer for all you mommies-to-be out there....that your baby is on the way with mine!
