Silent miscarriage

If us women are curious to know if we have a silent miscarriage (no bleed, no symptons, no nausea, no tender breast) would taking another pregnant test prove if you are -/+ before revealing it at the doctors? Just curious... because it just seems so intense waiting for the next appt and finding out bad news.. regardless how many weeks you are... I mean scientifically wouldn't it appear to show neg if really nothing is there? Who has had this experience?
