Questions about IUD insertion

Hello everyone! I'm Alex, 17, and I will be getting the Skyla implanted in 2 days. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what to do beforehand, medicine I should take, etc? I've read a lot about it and definitely am ready for the procedure, but u wanted some different perspectives from people who have one. What was the process like for you? Was there a lot of pain? Anything helps. Thanks! ☺️
