I gave birth 8 days ago. I had 20 stitches for my 2nd degree tear. I hurt as bad today as I did the day I left the hospital. If you tore, how long was it before you felt any relief from the pain? I use Tucks pads, Earth Mama angel Baby spray, numbing spray, and pain meds. Sometimes people are talking to me and I can't focus on what they're saying because all i can think about is how much pain Im in. Im worried I some how ripped some stitches after I got home and that's why the recovery is so long.
