Loving It!

Victoria
Hello ladies! I am a 23- year old young woman who got my IUD back in February of this year. When it was first inserted the pain was horrible but it didn't take very long to adjust and feel better. I feel, just like anything else, your body needs to get used to it and over time it gets better. I got the Skyla because I have never had children before and it's smaller, which was recommended by my doctor. Now 10 months down the road, I couldn't be happier with this method of birth control! My period is a little irregular sometimes but not always. And spotting is not really an issue anymore (I was spotting a little in the first few months). I was on the Depo shot for a few years and my doctor told me it was time to switch it up so here I am now. Of course, it's not for everyone just like any other medication, but it's worked out well for me so far.
