HELP!! PT QUESTION!

Ok so I am not new to taking pregnancy tests by any means. Took 2 years with my first to get a BFP and now working on a year with my second try. I took a test yesterday and for the first time ever the test line was almost gray compared to the control line which was very blue. It was negative btw but has anyone had this happen? Defective or normal test?! Thanks!!!

Blue dye tests are pretty finicky, I got a few evaps on them. I only use pink dye tests now.
