Does this look like tonsillitis?

Sorry if I've put this in the wrong thing but I wanted some advice I'm planning on going to the doctors tomorrow but don't want to feel like I'm over reacting.
I've had a sore throat for about a week now and it's started to get difficult to swallow and my neck has been really achy just wondered if anyone thought it looked like tonsillitis?

I've had tonsillitis several times growing up and every time I had lots of white dots on my tonsils and my throat was red raw. I don't think I can see any white dots in your pic?? Get better soon x

Looks like oral thrush.. get some nystatin.. along with some difflam xx

Try to gargle with warm ( as hot as u can stand it) salt water ( as salty as u can stand it) i do that when i get is sore throat. Could also be tonsil stones those almost feel like strep

Could be although when i had tonsillitis it happened overnight and was like razorblades in my throat and I had pustules (sorry tmi ) all over my tonsils. I'd do a Google image search and you'll see what I mean! I went to the Dr straight away.
