24 weeks pregnant...FTM and I want a puppy!

Someone please help talk me out of it! I know it's a bad idea but our friends dog just had puppies and they are so cute and my husband and I had been talking about getting a second dog as a companion for our 5 year old lab who's been really lonely since our other dog died almost 2 years ago. My brother and sister in law just got an adorable puppy...my dad wants to get my mom a puppy for her upcoming birthday...and now I have puppy fever! Lol please help tell me what a horrible idea it is to get one right now...my husband has tried but I know he secretly wants one too so the decision is up to me. If I say I want one he'll go get me one! My heart says yay cuddly baby puppy! My mind says you're freaking nuts lady, you're going to have a human baby in less than 4 months! I don't know what to do! Thanks for any advise!
