I have a 1 month old and am so glad we decided to cloth diaper. We used disposables for the first week-ish just so we wouldn't have a ton of laundry while we were adjusting. Every time I change my son's wet diaper, only to have him poop 5 minutes later (seriously, this afternoon I changed a wet diaper and he pooped as I lifted him off the changing table...😒), I am thankful I'm not paying for diapers. It's not that gross in the beginning (breastfed babies' poop is water soluble so the dirty diapers go straight in the machine). I just dump the diaper pail in the washer--don't touch anything.

My sister has used cloths the whole time with her 2 yr old and has continued with them with her 4month old. She swears by them. Def a money saver after you get over the grossness of having to clean them! Cute fluffy butts tho! I wanted to use them but my husband isn't for it.
