Not bonding
I'm exclusively breastfeeding and my little one is 11 weeks now. She's the light of my life and I'm absolutely in complete and total love with her! We have gone through a lot to get to this point, and I still am amazed that she's actually here!
But when I'm breastfeeding, which I'm absolutely happy to be feeding and nourishing her, I don't feel this bonding experience that I hear others talk about, and I'm wondering why? It feels to me like I'm feeding her..and that's about it! I'm SO thankful to be able to feed her this way, and to be able to see her growing so big and healthy; but just don't feel this amazing bond while breastfeeding.
I do feel incredibly bonded to my baby in general, but breastfeeding just doesn't do it for me, and I wish it did!!
Has anyone else experienced this? What can I do differently? Will this come in time? I've been bfing for almost 3 months now.
