Pseudotumor

Kyra
Was just diagnosed with this. Its where too much spinal fluid is produced and causes headaches and pressure on the optic nerve. Its rare but common in obese women that are of childbearing age. Associated with pcos.... So does anyone else have this? What should i expect at my visit with my neurologist.?

I have this. My first neuro appointment was just a lot of questions about symptoms, he did a very basic visual test, and referred me to an ophthalmologist to keep an eye on my vision, because it can cause blindness. I've been on diamox for about a year, and symptoms seem to go away completely when I eat healthy and exercise often.

Sometimes. I can always tell when my pressure is up. I just feel off. And then I'll notice the pulsatile tinnitus, I'm dizzy, and my vision gets blurry.

I work for a neurologist. They happen in varying degrees. If you don't mind me asking did your optometrist find it?

What about TTC with this and PCOS? I’m going to attempt weight loss for the next few months while we stabilize my new medication and diagnosis but my doctor told weight loss may or may not help the Psudotumor Cerebri. What I’m curious about is if the Psudotumor and Diamox complicates TTC any.
