I was having problems with my high blood pressure through out this entire pregnancy. When I went to my Obgyn he finally took initiative and told me to go admit myself to the hospital just for observation. Next thing you know, they're telling me they NEED to do a c- section for the safety of myself and the baby. I spent my thanksgiving nibbling on hospital turkey and nasty stuffing but had my family there with me which made it way easier to deal with. On the 27th at 9:22, my entire world changed. I heard my little brave fighter bolt out three cries and was thankful for the beautiful blessing. She weighed 3 llbs and was 25 inches long. She was put into the NICU. I am told repeatedly that she does not like to be dirty and that she's firstly and aware of where they place the IV on her. It's the hardest thing to do leaving your child behind but it's also the best thing. I know she's getting the proper care in order to come home healthy and strong. It's just hard going through lol of this and not being able to come home with your child. When they wheel you downstairs and ask if your sitting in the back with your baby and you have to say no..when you open the door to your house and walk by her room and she's not in there..it's all hard. But I know it'll be all worth it when she's home with me snuggled next to her dad and I...I believe in the power of prayer so I'm praying for my own child and praying for all the moms out there going through the same thing! Stay strong!
