Yes! They will help you build up the right nutrients you'll need to support baby.  Folic acid is a huge thing to be taking.

It's perfectly fine. Docs recommend it so that you have an adequate build up of certain things for when you become pregnant. It won't make you get pregnant, or help you but they're a good idea. They're good for your skin and nails in the meantime.
