Sit and stand strollers?

Question

What are your thoughts? My son will be almost 3 1/2 when this baby is born, but he is still very content with sitting in a stroller. He's 40 pounds, so I wouldn't get a side by side, but I've been considering a sit and stand for him. Anyone have one with an older sibling? Worth it or no?

If we got one, it wouldn't be compatible with our car seat so it would really be for a few months in, and closer to my sons 4th birthday.

We have one! Ryder was 3 when Walker was born, but ours was compatible with our car seat so Ryder rode in the front. I love our stroller. Now when this baby gets here Walker will ride in front and the baby in the back and Ryder will walk now that he is 5! But Walker is 2 now and Ryder rides in the sit/stand part, it has a buckle just not a back. But ours has done us good for a little over 2 years now.

We got one for my son but once they get independent they want to pop in and out while you are trying to walk and it's a pain. One minute they want to sit and the next they want to walk and I stopped using it so I wouldn't go insane.

I am getting a sit and stand and my son will be turning 3, 2 months after the baby gets here. I wasn't going to get one at first because of the whole car seat issue but then I finally found the adapter that I needed for it at buybuy baby, so now I am going to get it. I have other family members who have had the sit and stand and love them.
