Implanon and Pregnancy?! 😰

So I got the implanon birth control the first weekend of October and my health care provider told me to wait 2 weeks before having sex, it's been just over two months and me and my boyfriend finally had sex about two weeks ago and he came inside. I've been having dreams about being pregnant just within this last week and it's freaking me out just because I sometimes believe the dreams are signs so should I be worried or is it just me being paranoid because I'm constantly seeing pregnancy posts all over Facebook? because I know my dr said it's very safe and stuff but the birth control keeps your period irregular so how would I know I'm pregnant in the first place? (I never really touched base on that with my dr before I got the implant)

and for those who are curious about the birth control, I do love it so far! I rarely bleed, I don't ever break out but I'll get a pimple here and there now but other than that it's great!

Your perfectly safe! I have it in 2 years and my boyfriend cums inside me allllll the time , if your scared of catching anything id advise him to wear a condom but if hes the only partner your sexually active with i think your fine

Ive also had pregnancy scares too and took tests but the implanon is 100% effective

I think you're just stressed. I have it to and I've had dreams before because I'd get kind of scared because I was on my period for two months and then it finally stopped. It's pretty good at preventing pregnancy but it sucks in every other aspect.

I know whenever I started a new birth control and had sex I always thought I was pregnant. It might jut be your mind messin with you, thinking worse case scenario has come true. once you get used to having sex wthout "obvious" protection (condoms) youll get used to not worrying about it. But do listen to your body and not always your mind (cus my mind plays more tricks on me than my body ever has).
