How bad is it that I haven't told my family yet?

I'm 9w6d and I haven't told anyone but my BF. My BMI is almost 50, my Dr says I have Hypertension, and I'm not very active. My biggest fear is getting my hopes up and something happens to our little miracle baby... Especially after reading numerous post about miscarriage. Has anyone else felt like this? How long have/did you wait to tell your family/friends?

I misscarried a week after I told my family and friends, biggest regret. Wait until your comfortable, or until 14wks.

I told my family the day I found out I was pregnant. My BMI is also kind of up there maybe around 40 and I'm not active at all. I'm 36.5 weeks with my son also with hypertension. I have very borderline preeclampsia and am on bedrest until delivery. He's due the 28th of this month but we're almost certain he'll be here sooner. Don't stress yourself about hypertension, it will only raise your blood pressure. Take it easy and don't overwork yourself.

It's all good! We're waiting until Christmas so about 15 weeks.  Its fun to string my mother in law around lol she talks about grandkids all day. And I still get to say things like. Eww gross babies! Or it'll happen when we're ready. Lol. She's gonna be so surprised!!!

We told everyone when we knew he was a sticky baby that's past 15-18 weeks so at 15 weeks we said something to family and friends..

Okey first of all, do not read thise articles or posta! It will only stress you out and as you know, stress can cause amiscarriage, secondly I'm overweight, basically morbidly obese. My OB/GYN reffered me to a dietician and so far I have lost 5,3 kg, without taking away any nutrients from my baby. I was prescribed blood pressure medication and glucophage, and was asked to walk at least 3 times a day and drink a minimum of 2,5l water a day and up my fruit and veg intake.

My baby girl weighed a healthy normal 248g at 19 weeks, and witb a heartbeat of 151bpm.

I told my mom right away but we waited on my bfs family. I have a son thats about to be 3 this month and his family is always demanding us to have another baby and that it has to be a girl. I'm 14 weeks now and we just told his mom and we'll everyone else can wait until we're ready. 😊
