Baby Bath?

Question

Did anyone from the first bath at home just use a rolled up bath towel in the tub? 
I haven't found a baby tub I like, and we don't have a lot of room to store one as we live in a 2 bedroom apt with 1 bath.

I've found it easiest to skip the baby baths and get in with the baby and use my lap/legs as his "bath." He slipped around a lot less and gave me much more ability to wash him and let him float some (with me holding of course! Babies love to float)

My parents bathed my son in the sink. I have a baby tub though so once he was too big for the sink, they did it in that in the tub. My SO and I found its easiest for the two of us to just take him in the shower with us. We keep him in the bassinet by the door while I shower (I like hot showers), then we lower the temp, bring him in and SO holds him while I wash and I get out, wrap up, grab him, wrap him up. Then we go to our room and dry off, get him dressed, nurse, SO is out of the shower, does his thing, then baby is usually finished nursing by then so he grabs him and I finish. Our babe is almost 2 months.

Puj tubs are nice and be hung flat or placed under anything really. They're nice! I'd love one! Haha. But a towel totally does the trick too! Just whatever is going to keep your babe safe. My third use to bathe with me in the shower once she was a month old. She still loves the shower at three! My husband would be there to help of course, ready with a towel. 😊

I'd recommend sink then a towel on bottom of your bath even tho mine was only 10 buks at 10 weeks he's already grown out of it and it's a pain to store number 2 will be done a bit differently I think haha also so many clothes he never wore

You can make that work, you don't really need a baby tub. We never really used ours and when we were babies they didn't even have them!

You can get a foam mat pretty cheap to bath the baby in the sink. They are inexpensive. Look at Walmart :)
