Work after miscarriage?

Question

I was in hospital last night on morphine because I was in so much pain. I have today off work. Should I go back tomorrow? I'm still bleeding, I don't want to get to weak and get sick at work but I honestly feel okay physically now. What did you do?

I didn't go back until 2 weeks after just bc of the pain I was in.  If you can take as long as you need. It also helps cope with the loss easier, bc you won't be around people constantly.  Good luck and sorry for your loss.

I went back to work 3 days after my miscarriage. I was ready to go back. It was nice being around people and received some amazing support from the ladies I work with. Several if them shared there miscarriage stories with me. I don't have any other kids so the house was empty and loanly. Keeping busy helped me. Everybody is different though.

I took a week after my D&C. I needed the time emotionally to heal and I also bled for
Awhile, so the time was good for me physically as well. My boss at the time was super understanding.

I went back too soon, and ended up taking 5 days off a week later because I was so emotionally drained. It hit me a little later, and keeping busy didn't help me

Physically sure. Go back. But if you have the sick time or can afford to take a couple days off, I would recommend doing so. You deserve some time to mourn and recover both mentally and physically.
