Blighted ovum
Today I was told at my sono that I have a blighted ovum. My body still believes it's pregnant even though nothing is there but a sac. I'm measuring at 7w4d, so I'm curious if anyone else Experianced this and how long it took for your body to realize there is no baby there and start the process itself???

Last time (August) the baby stopped developing so my body knew right away and the process was fairly quick, right now the waiting period is killing me especially since I still have pregnancy symptoms. I feel like I can't begin healing until this process has started.
