Made a boo boo

Today started the first day of ovulation for me. Took a test this morning and some how I screwed up. I guess maybe I didn't pee enough on it or something, but it didn't show any lines at all. You k iw when you first pee on the stick how you can see the testing panel change color all the way across it didn't even do that. I was so desperate I even stuck it in the toilet still didn't do anything. So the test is screwed up and I want to badly test again but I don't want to waste another test. What would you do? Like I said today is the first day of ovulation according to glow but on the clear blue directions I would tells you to count it told me to start on tomorrow so what would you do test again or just have sex anyway I'll just wait till tomorrow I don't want to mess up my husband and I had two miscarriages this year and one night in the year off on a good note by getting pregnant again and hoping that it sticks please help thanks
