Mirena coil removed- severe bleeding TMI
Not sure if this is the right place to post this. Sorry if it is!!
On Tuesday I had my mirena coil removed. I've had it in for 4 years and had no problems. I've had no periods while it was in. Yesturday and and the day it was removed I had no pain, no cramping, no bleeding nothing this evening I was sat on the sofa and suddenly I had some horrendous cramping and was gushing blood (sorry if TMI!). I rushed to the toilet and there was masses of bright bright red blood and blood clots! Seriously loads of it! I'm having to change my pads every 30mins to an hour! (Again sorry if TMI!) 😧
Has any one else had this after getting the coil removed?
Is this normal?
Will this stop? 😓
