One year anniversary date???

So me and my boyfriend started dating December 23 but we broke up for about two and half weeks in July and in that time we realized we actually weren't all that happy being apart (I know, it was a short time but we both just felt breaking up wasn't the solution) and we got back together. Now that December 23 is coming up, we're both wondering if our anniversary date has changed? Is it still the date of our first date or is it the day we got back together?
