This is our first duty station and we have been here for 5 months. I'm sure y'all know it can be a little hard finding friends (I get so anxious meeting new people). For the past four months I've been going to a Bible study that I really like. I seriously like all of the women there and we hang out throughout the week. I feel comfortable because they're genuinely nice people. Until last night I didn't know what anyone's husband's rank was. We were at a Christmas party and the conversation came up. My husband is an E2 and most everyone else was married to an officer.. the enlisted guys were still much higher ranking.

I went home and i was telling my husband about it and he got kind of upset that I was hanging out with them. It hurt my feelings because I like them, and I don't really have anyone else to talk to. He said I needed to be really careful and that he wouldn't meet their husbands (we have get togethers often where husbands abd kids attend). Am I being too sensitive or do I really need to be careful?
