LEEP Procedure

I had surgery yesterday to remove precancerous cells off of my cervix. I'm not sure how to word this. Anyway, I'm supposed to start my peorid in two days and I'm pretty on point. I know the surgery can make me bleed but idk if it's from the surgery or if it helped kick start my peorid. If I kick started me I have to start my birth control tomorrow, but if it's not I have to wait until next Sunday. I'm really confused on what to do. I know I'm not the only one here that has had to have one down and I was looking for personal experiences. Thanks in advance.
