Mother in law? Help!

I just went to my mother in laws house yesterday to set up the Christmas tree with my husband. I had a bad day at work and I was just not in the mood for anything. My husband and I just got into an argument about a money situation so I was irritated. I went to the bathroom at her house and I came out and she was teary eyed and told my husband that she thinks I'm mad at her and I never wanna be around her because I didn't spend thanksgiving with their family. I stayed with my family this year. She thinks I never wanna go over there and spend time with her which makes me so sad. I work the weekends and I have two days off a week usually during the week whenever she is working. She's so sweet and she's such a nice lady. I texted her after my husband told me what she said and I said that I don't want her to think that I don't like her but she never replied back. So I called her and she won't respond back or call me back. What should I do! I've been so upset that she thinks this.
