IUD saved my life

For 18 months continuously I had been bleeding without a break, not just spotting but a heavy period, continuously, which made me severely depressed. After trying most contraceptive methods it didn't change anything and I just kept bleeding, until I got the coil. I bled for a further 3 months but now I'm only having a one week period every month (I've had the coil for 9 months now)! I cannot explain how much of a difference it has made to my life, and I would highly recommend the copper coil for anyone with menstrual problems!
