Friday night my step daughter 5 years old (yes i call her that even tho im not married to her dad. Been with her dad for 5 years and are engaged) downloaded a baby game onto her tablet. We figured out you can take a picture of yourself so you are the mommy in the game. She immediately wanted to take my picture and make me the mom.

Then today after her shower while i was drying her off she asked what i am to her. My immediate response was im her daddy's gf. She said ok but she wanted to know what i am to her. I told her that she should ask her dad so he can explain it to her. So she goes to him and he tells her im like her second mom and when we get married i will be her step mom. She seemed very happy with that answer. She has never looked at me as a mom so im happy that she had a good reaction to what her dad said.
