Sugar pills gain weight???

Do the sugar pills make you gain weight??? If so can I just not take them for the week? (And still get my period at that time)

There only purpose is to help you keep a regular schedule for taking your pills, you can just pop the pill out of the holder on the time you would usually take your pill and throw it away instead of ingesting it if you're worried about that
