Negative test straight away??

I'm 4 weeks pregnant and been light bleeding since Saturday, been to hospital and told stay positive till I'm 6 weeks . I took another home test and it's come bk negative does this mean I've miscarried I'm at doctors Wednesday, feel so confused 😕

That happened to me. It's called a chemical pregnancy. I started out with a light positive test. It was light but it was there. It didn't get too much darker as the days past and then one day I started bleeding and took another test and it was negative. I knew I had lost it. I was only about 4 weeks ish. But still devastating.  I didn't have a period for two more months and we kept trying. I finally found out I was pregnant 3 months after I had a chemical.

Maybe a chemical. Because it takes a while for hcg levels to go down if you were in fact pregnant. Your hcg levels are gone that's why you got a negative test.
