Yeast Infection

I had a yeast infection last week and took monistat 7 for four days. It looks a lot better. It's been 24 hours since I last took it. I had sex with my fiancé today. And when we did, it burned a little. Is that bad? Should I wait a week now? Will i get it again? What are the consequences. I told my fiancé since it burned we are waiting a week or two. Just to make sure. Is that a smart thing to do?
