I went in for an ultrasound today to determine whether or not my MC was complete. It turns out I will have to have a d&c this week. My main concern is that the ultrasound also showed a large cyst on my left ovary (7.5 cm about the size of a baseball). I still can't believe something that large is in there and I had no idea! I had an US 3 weeks ago to confirm the MC and the cyst was only 2cm so it's grown that much since then. The doctor thinks that after my hormones level out after the D&C, the cyst will shrink. Has anyone else experienced something like this??
