how often should i test

I test in the afternoon. Once per day. BD once you get dark line.

Most people test twice a day.

I test once a day in the morning.

I test twice a day to make sure I catch my surge. But, if your opks stay positive for a day you can probably just test once. If you are just starting out, I would test twice a day for a couple months until you can see your cycle's pattern. (Mine don't stay positive for long.)
