False positive?

Is t possible to get a false positive? I just took an hcg test and it's positive. Is it possible it could be false? Should I not get my hopes up?

Most "false positives" are people who get an indent line or evap but don't realize it, but actual false positives are pretty rare so just retake the test with a pink dye, using FMU and if it's positive make a dr appt :) good luck!

I used to get them all the time while trying for my daughter. Eventually I stopped believing them and kept doing them to see if they got darker which they did when I was pregnant then I did a digital x
