I am 37w4d. I was diagnosed with BV and my doctors thought that I wouldn't make it to my due date (Christmas day). At my last appointment, they found out that I also have a UTI. The medication they put me on has been known to cause birth defects if taken between 38-42 weeks. It says in the package "You must not take this" if you are in that time frame or breastfeeding. I didn't feel comfortable taking the meds, but my doc said delaying them could cause kidney problems. I'm starting the meds today and praying so hard that my little girl will wait until I'm finished taking them to come into the world!
