When to set up an appointment

I'm new to this. Just found out last week I was pregnant, now according to glow I'm 6 weeks pregnant. When should I call to make an appointment. I'm seeing most women say at 9 weeks or after. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance ladies! ☺️

I'd go ahead and call now. I called as soon as I found out at around 5 weeks and they still scheduled me for like 3 weeks later when I would have been 8 weeks.

I called as soon as I got my positive. They asked when my last period was, then scheduled me a few after. My initial appt was just to confirm and get all medical info and info from previous pregnancies, then they scheduled me for 12 weeks according to my lmp. I also had a dating ultrasound at 8 weeks and it was confirmed I was 8 weeks. Just depends on where you go. Where I go, they don't see you until about 12 weeks unless high risk.

You can go ahead and make the appointment now! You may not get into see the OB until 8-10 weeks but it's best to set up now because some times they get booked up and if you wait you may not get in until even later! I'm 3 weeks 5 days and made my first appointment yesterday. I don't go until January 11th when I'll be 8 weeks 4 days.
