2nd time mommys- what induced your first labor?

I know, I know.. your baby will come when he/she is ready. I was just wondering if there were things you did before you went into labor with your baby/first baby that you believe sent you into labor?

I had my daughter right on her due date.. I did A LOT of walking the few days before and also sex! Started having contractions an hour after!

So if you go into the hospital for an induction they either use prostaglandins or pitocin, which is the synthetic form of oxytocin, a hormone your body releases that causes contractions.

Prostaglandins help with labor by "ripening" the cervix. Sperm contains prostaglandins.

Oxytocin is naturally released in your body through things like nipple stimulation and orgasms.

So sex is really probably the best way to help kickstart things.

I'm a third time mommy lol. 
My first came on his due date without any intervention on my part or the doctors.

My second however, I had prodromal labor with her for 2 days before finally delivering on 40+2. 
My contractions would NOT regulate with her. What finally worked for us was nipple stimulation. Lol
