Do women usually make it to the full 40 weeks your first baby?

Momma telling me that the baby usually come about 2 weeks early in our family....

Everyone is different. Statisticly though,  first time moms go past their due date

My mom always went to 38-39 weeks with her pregnancies me on the other hand I stop at 36 weeks exactly. It just depends on the woman's body in my opinion

I went to 42 weeks with my first pregnancy! I went in to be induced 2 weeks after my due date, and thankfully my daughter cooperated and labor started on its own before i had gotten induced.

1st child at 38 weeks and 2nd child at 37+5. Due to coliestacis. Hoping this peach will go till at least 37 x

Mine came at 34 weeks this one will be here at 34-36 I have preeclampsia and it's starting to show up again so he's gonna be in there as long as I can hold out..

I'm a ftm so can't respond to my experience. But, I was 3 weeks early and my sister was 2 weeks early. My nephew was 3 weeks early. My dr told  me she would be surprised if I make it to 40 weeks because of family history, but anything is possible.

My son came 9 days late and thats because i was induced. Who knows how long he would have stayed in there! Haha

This is my first child, so I can't answer for myself but my mom had me 2 weeks after her due date and I'm her first child.
