Boudoir photo shoots?

I wanted to see what you all thought of these. I'm not to my goal weight where I feel comfortable with myself doing one yet, but I was thinking around March I would and surprise my husband. Because it's like a victory for me, overcoming self esteem issues and being sexy [I am that awkward girl that flips her hair and knocks over a lamp and breaks a window type] 😅

--Have you ever done one? Do you have any suggestions with it? I have to find a photographer in my area obviously but other than that.

---Is it in bad taste? I think it's a sexual gesture that's private for him and I would have a female photographer for sure [just how I'm comfortable]

I am not a very confident person but I have done one and I felt amazing after! I hadn't even seen the photos yet but for whatever reason it made me feel great! I had a female photographer and a friend there and I did it in my house. I also searched Google and pintrest looking for poses and outfit styles I liked.

I want to do it when I'm pregnant because I'm very self conscious and I feel like that would be the perfect time.

I did one for my gift to the Hubby before the wedding & he loved it! It's a bit awkward at first, but just be yourself and think sexy 😉

I did one for my husband as a welcome home from Deployment present... He absolutely loved it. I did some with lingerie and some where I was partially nude and honestly I loved them so much because of my photographer I ended up showing the more appropriate ones to family and they all thought they were tasteful. I say if you're confident, go for it!

I do a boudoir shoot every year for our anniversary, also I had a special one done before our wedding ❤️ he loves them! Especially since we live apart 3 weeks of the month! I'd say do it, no one knows you and loves you more then your honey!

When I heard about these I wanted to do one, so I was getting in shape for it. But then I found out I was pregnant so it never came about. I wish I would have done it before having kids, but maybe after the baby years I'll try to get in shape again. Some people look totally fine with the weight they're at even though they may be a little uncomfortable, but I carry all my weight in my stomach. I'm constantly asked if I'm pregnant when I'm not, so it will be a while before I can.
