Sex Partner throwing off PH balance

So prior to having sex with my current sex partner I wasn't having issues with my vagina. I have had an STD before which is cleared up and had been before I started dealing with him. However, since we've started having sex (7 months) I've been having issues with discharge and odor. I've been to the doctor and got it cleared a few times (disclaimer: I don't always finish me antibiotics) but it keeps coming back. He isn't circumcised and sometimes smells a little strong down there. I'm convinced he's the reason I've been having issues. I'm STD free, since I contracted it once I get tested regularly. What's your opinions?
