Is it ortho tri-cyclen? Ive been on it for almost 2 years and I haven't had any side effects, mood swing, etc. It works pretty well for me too I think I mean I haven't gotten pregnant. The only thing that it did was shorten my period so now instead of having my period for a week it's now 4 days.

I'm not going to lie, I was on a tri-cyclen for a year and I absolutely hated it... My periods were inconsistent before I went on it and because it's a tri cyclic and the hormones are different levels every week it didn't help regulate my period at all... Like I always got my period during the placebo week but sometimes my periods would last like two-three weeks... Also, if you ever want birth control to skip periods, it's not very possible with this kind of birth control because of the hormone changes. You can try, but it hardly ever actually works you just end up with weird spotting. I've been on a mono-cyclic pill now for like two months and it's SO much better. Just some of my thoughts, best of luck :)

I've been on it for almost 6 years now, and it's great. They shorten and regulate my periods GREAT, and now that I'm starting to have sex, they're great for that too now!

I'm on it now it's been the only thing I've had. For me, it's only OK cause I seem to have to take it with food or something like bread. I have a small upset stomach otherwise.
