Induction questions?

I'm getting induced tomorrow  at 8 am due to low fluids and wondered how it goes. Does it hurt? Is it uncomfortable? What should I expect? Will it takes long before my baby is here? I'm guessing he's already 8 pounds. He's already head first. Not sure how dilated or effaced I am. Please ease my mind somehow.

I wish I could be induced again. I was induced at 38 weeks w my son. No epidural....3 hours 45 minutes of labor....and steady even contractions. The only similarity to my daughter who I wasn't induced with was I had no epidural. The contractions were all over the place and labor was 7 hours.

I went in right after my appointment 11/19 at  3pm I was at 1.5 cm they put cervadil in me for 12 hours that started contractions for me and that stayed in for 12 hours and then they came and broke my water at 3-4 cm and put me on a low dose of pit i got an epi at 5-6 cm and on 11/20 at 5:00pm I was fully dialated ready to push at 5:30 he was here you will do amazing just remember the pain is worth it and I'm not going to say it doesn't hurt Bc that pitocin make killer contractions and congrats in advance on your beautiful baby

I was induced with my first and was in labor for about 5 hours. I would say my contractions with my second (who I went into labor on my own) were a lot worse. Labor was longer then too, 7 hours. Labor is definitely painful but TOTALLY worth it. It's crazy how you forget all the pain once that baby is in your arms! Good luck!!! I'm going in in about 2 hours to be induced! 💙
