So as the title tells you I had a abdominsl myomectomy in July of this year. I have lost 53 pounds since my surgery (doctor recommended it before ttc) and my husband and myself started trying again last month for our first child. Unfortunately, I was dx with an incisional hernia last Monday.

I'm so upset, I've been crying every day for a week. I saw the nurse practitioner at my gyn 2 days ago and she was not able to give me any answers or solutions. She is discussing it with the gyn today and will call me tomorrow.

She said that there are 3 likely solutions 1. We Wait and see what happens 2. Gyn repairs it, 3. General surgeon repairs it. Of course I have been all over google with this and I read that after a repair you should wait 3 to 5 years to get pregnant. I'm 33 years old! I'm just so fustrated!

Also I am currently ovulating, like ewcm and everything and I'm not sure if we should bd tonight or not.

Has anyone had any experience with this? I just feel like every time I take a step forward I take 5 steps back.
