Cloth diapers??

Is anyone planning on cloth diapering? And if you have what was your experience. I'm highly considering it.

Yes!  I just need to get a few newborn ones but once she hits 9lbs I'll be using all the ones I've saved from her older brother. Love the all in two diapers!

We are planning on doing cloth diapers for our first too. I'm trying to get a few of multiple brands/types because what I've heard is each baby grows a little different and it is a lot of trial and error in the beginning for what system is best for you. 
We are getting some all in one's for grandparents and babysitting situations (also for hubby). I think I am going to prefer the all-in-two or hybrid and/or pocket systems best so we are going with flip, bumgenius, and rumparooz,  as well as some highly recommended goodmama's fitted for overnight. We are also going to try some thirties duo, imagine and other highly rated ones. For Newborn stage I am mostly going with covers and prefolds so that the fit can be best while baby is changing so quickly. I will have some pockets and all-in-ones on hand too though. The prefolds can be used as inserts later and make awesome burp cloths and cleaning rags so I figure they are just great to have. Once we go to solids I definitely plan on using flushable liners... Easiest way not to fall off the cloth wagon :) I've heard that after washing the best thing to do is assemble pockets and all-in-twos so it is a grab 'n go system like disposables. I also plan on cloth wipes (another $ saver) since I'll already have a wet bag and diaper laundry to do. We are also buying a box of Newborn disposables so we have a back up as we figure it all out ;)

I cloth diapered my first three children. By the fourth, I was kinda burned out on it, our hard water issues didn't help. It totally saves money, and they're cute.

I'm planning on it! Started building my stash the day before Thanksgiving! I've been getting different types to try since everyone likes different things. I recommend checking Facebook for any cloth diapering b/s/t pages that way you don't have to pay full price before knowing what you like. I go all of these to $72 and most have only been washed. Some gently used. Bottom row is lil joeys nb AIOs, middle is rumparoos nb covers, top is gdiapers in small and medium with inserts. I also ordered this happy ending AI2 from Amazon! I love them! Hubby and I are building a house and will be moving in late January, 3 months before baby! Hoping to have all diapers paid for before baby arrives!

I am and have been collecting for years (I've got funny looks from friends and family, but guess who's got te cost of diapers out of the way...THIS GUY!) I think the bet advise for someone just starting out (even though this is my first) is to get a good selection so that you can find the one that works right for your babe's bottom and then invest in the brand that works best for you. :)

I'm planning on it. I've bought a lot of different types, but I'm thinking we are going to go with Gdiapers and kawaii. Of course, that's depnding on if they fit my sweet boy.

Yes! We are using the Flip system which is made by cotton babies ( also the makers of bumgenius)... Great reviews and more affordable than a lot of other brands! Plus I like that they have the disposable inserts which will come in handy when we travel.
